This may sound silly to a lot of you, but I've finally found a Motif, a Concept that I want to share with people through my artwork--a message, you know?

You guys have seen it--90% of my work has been cutesy whore-out fluff/fanart with no intellectual content. That actually explains why it's tottered to a grinding halt lately--I'm damn sick of it, and ashamed to even look at my old work. It's nice every once-in-a-while, but that was all I did.

And somehow I got into art school--HAH. |8,D If that doesn't give hope to the young people, I don't know what does.

I've always classified 'Art' as an image that shows a mastery of both technical skill and intellect. A Pretty Picture is nothing more than that without a message behind it--and I was honestly terrified to be in art school without one.

I've always been over-conscious of how I come off to people--as pretentious, obnoxious, etc--to the point that I just don't do a damn thing. Which is actually the most detrimental. XD So to hell with it--you guys will think what you think regardless of what I can do about it.

I haven't been the most informative here about what mental revelations have been going on lately, but one of them is the passivity of words--I'll just do my best to catch you guys up visually ;D

PS - In order to get an idea of my mindset [or purely because they're awesome movies] go watch Dark City and Wizard of Gore <333
